Nailed It! Friday - Essie

Bonjour ladies!!! Friday evenings always makes me giddy!! They're my favourite time of the week. :)  So, I decided to change up Nail Friday to Nailed It! Friday. What do you think?  I hope to get organized to maybe have a link on my blog you can upload your Nailed It! Friday nails each week.  It would be great to do a little blog hop like that.  

In case you're not familiar, we have a very great group of girls on Facebook and we share all kinds of beauty and life stuff and Friday's we encourage each other to use our nail polish stash!

This week, I used 2 colours from Essie's latest collection "Leading Lady." Essie is definitely my most favourite brand. The blue/green is Where's My Chauffeur? and the glitter is Beyond Cozy. In this picture it looks a little more blue than it is. I bought the whole collection from Loose Button as they had a promo code.  I believe all 6 were $35 with free shipping. Yes, I'm still in love with the single accent nail trend.  I was late hopping on that band wagon. ;)

The idea for this manicure is totally from the Nasty Nails website.  I saw the combo and totally loved it!

Essie's Where's My Chauffeur? is a gorgeous Tiffany blue type colour.  Essie describes it as an "opulent turquoise." This was 2 coats and it went on beautifully.  The colour is so gorgeous that I can't stop staring at my hands.  I can't wait to do this manicure in the summer!

Essie's Beyond Cozy is a pale silver glitter with just a hint of gold. Essie describes it as a "decadent silvery gold glitter."  I love it as it's a very dense glitter.  You may get away with one coat, I did two and was super impressed.  It goes on very smooth and is easy to apply.

This photo shows a pretty darn close idea of what the colours look like.  I love Essie and these colours are no exception.  They applied with the same quality that I expect of Essie.
