Hello!!! I left work a little early today, about 2:30. Weekends make me giddy, I LOVE my weekends. I worked many years in health care where I worked every second weekend so I know what a treasure they are! However, this weekend I've been just silly giddy - - LONG WEEKEND!!!!! Woot Toow!! :D
So, I know I missed the past couple Fridays, but I'm back with a Nailed It! Friday for you! Yesterday, I received my February Julep box (stay tuned for that post next week) and I just couldn't get this holo on fast enough! This Julep's name is Ginger. Please, feel free to enlarge the images so you can get a better look at holo-ness of this polish!
Ginger is a sand holographic. Depending on the light it can just look like a sandy nude, a light holo or a complete light show. It's so incredibly beautiful that I'm totally going to hoard this polish for the summer months where my nails will be so flashy they'll stop traffic! :)
I took a picture with flash, so that you can get a look at the dazzling array of colours. Focus on the ring finger.
I'm sorry about my cuticles girls..the weather in Winnipeg has be brutal. I didn't want to lose what I had left of my daylight and my topcoat was still drying, so I skipped moisturizing prior to pics. I needed to get the best possible shots of this colour as I could! I just want to sit and stare at my hands all day!
So, if you haven't received this colour in your Julep box or you don't subscribe to Julep, head on over to the site and order yourself this colour pronto!! You will not regret it!
My daughter has fallen in love with nail friday and she was SO incredibly happy for all the lovely comments last time she shared, so thank you SO much for making a little girls day! :) This is Kara this week.
She used an unnamed Color Club. It's a Christmas green/lime green duochrome. I don't know why the polishes in the gift sets don't have the names on them?!
Aren't the colours lovely??? I'm totally going to have to sneak this one away from her for a manicure for myself. ;) The amazing thing is..this is her right hand..pretty impressive for a beginner polisher! :) She loves painting her nails. She has about 30 colours now but of course my colours are hers to use whenever she likes as well!
There you have it! Did you have nails to share this Friday?
Have a wonderful weekend!
XO
