Julep Mystery Boxes - June Edition


I am *such* a sucker for these boxes.  I fall for it every.single.time!  I ordered 2 again.  Again, I got two different boxes..but for the first time I was sad about the colour choices. I was sad I got two small boxes..again. :`(  Maybe next time, I should order...4? lol. Hmm...

Anyways, my first box contained the cardboard nail file, the lip balm and nail therapy. I have to say I used quite a bit of the first nail therapy on my peeling nails and never did get results...so I'm not sure if I may pass this one along. The colours I received were Juliette, Pippa and Jodie.  Not that excited about any of the colours.  I think that Jodie would make an awesome lip gloss though!

The second box: cardboard nail file, lip balm and base coat.  Their base coat is good, I love using it and have a little stash of these already!  They're small bottles so they go fast!  The colours I received were Taylor, Sofia and Kelly.  I already had Taylor and Kelly..that's the luck of the draw.  However, Kelly is so close to Pippa, that it was kind of a bummer to get all these neutrals between the two boxes.

    I subscribe monthly but thinking of switching it. Think I will go for the Mystery box instead. Just way too many polish for me every month. As much as I love them, I'm running out of room to store them.

      You know, if they put out a monthly mystery box..it's more worth it to do it that way. I have a nice system of how I store my Julep, I will share that and you can see how it looks with them all crammed in. :)

    Beautiful colors! I don't know if I could commit to another beauty box, I can't imagine using up all the products. Then again I have shoppers remorse before I by anything... takes me forever to commit...

      It can get a little excessive...I do get a lot of products and tons I haven't used...I just can't stop myself. I'm *so* scared of missing out on something, lol!

    I don't know why I keep getting suckered into these and I always end up with the smallest ones..I think MOST Canadians do! I say no more, until they parade them again.. :/

    I can see why you're a little disappointed. Having 2 of the colours already and having two that look pretty much the same (those nude pinks). I didn't see any of these colours in other mystery box unboxings I think. A lot of the colours were the same and actually I was not surprised when I got mine since I had the same colours I'd mostly seen in other people's boxes. White is kind of cool though. It would be good underneath a lot of the sparkle type polishes or for tips or for more "design" styles. And the red is very Christmassy! Less than 6 months left! lol

      Yeh, it kinda felt like I was getting what was left in the bottom of the barrel! I noticed a lot of girls got similar boxes...so I was hoping for Emilie or Sienna..etc. I'm getting Kate the white one for the July boxes...I think this white might be sheer/almost clear. I did white tips last night I should have tested it.

      Yeh, I was bummed. My nails were peeling SO much and I had so much faith and nothing. :/ I even replaced it with my base coat.
