May Luxe Box

The May Luxe Box came with 2 boxes.  The standard black box and a seperate white box.  I wasn't sure exactly what it was about, but it turns out P&G sponsored the box?  Some people were up in arms..but I thought, hey more goodies, right?
The first of two items in the white box was the Olay Regenerist wrinkle revolution complex.  I think Olay is a good brand, so I don't mind getting skincare products from them! The tube has 7ml.  Some girls got a 2nd one in their main box.
The other item was a Venus razor with Olay moisturizer.  This was kind of nice because I just got rid of all my razors I keep accumulating and have been using disposables.  I've already owned the Venus in teal and later pink.  I often steal my husband's razor and find it works much better on my legs than any woman's razor I used.  I'll definitely test this baby out.
The main box had this sticker on it, but I'm not really sure how authentic these personalized boxes are...
First, there was this card to receive $20 off Panty By Post.  This expires end of June and I'm definitely going to give it a try.  With shipping and the $20 off it comes to 11.50 or so.  The panties are generally $30 each if you buy one time only.  So, I'll see what the fuss is about and then I'll review and model to see if I think the panties are really worth the $$!
Perfume samples. Black XS L'Exces by paco rabanne. I wouldn't be attracted to perfume like this at first glance... to be honest I didn't even test the ladies perfume (bottom). I gave the men's one to my husband.  Anyone else here annoyed to get men's stuff?  Anyways it said it was a woody fragrance...so I joked around I gave him a woody. :P  My humour is that of a 12 year old boy. ;)  I'm not sure, but this wasn't exciting.
Next, is the Orlane Repairing Night Cream.  I'm a bit on overload of anti aging.  I don't mind it...but I don't use a new one until I'm finished an old one.  The box looked like a decent size..and I *just* opened the box now..and it's a piddly bottle half the size of that Olay sample! It's 3.5ml.  It smells like any basic cream.
This is a 30ml tub of a rinse out masque by Keratase Reflection.  It's by L'Oreal.  Ok, I'll try it out.  It's pink and the consistency of conditioner. (Can you tell as I type I'm not really excited?)
Finally, my 2nd month in a row of Essie polish.  Now, this would have super duper excited me...except AGAIN I have the colour!!! BOOOURNS!  Not Luxe Box's fault...but I would have loved to get a new colour!  That said, this is one of my all time favourite colours.  I'm willing to trade this one with someone for another Essie though..because I have a zillion polishes and don't need doubles!  This colour looks REALLY good with "Matte About You" topcoat on it.
That's it!  I should note that Luxe Box is changing from a monthly box to a quarterly box..I'm sure you've all heard the hoopla by now.  I don't know yet what I'm doing.  I elected to take a June Box and decide later if I want to try the quarterly box.  It's more money for less samples, but apparently the samples are supposed to be bigger.  I have time to decide yet.  What are you doing with your Luxe Box subscription?

Hope you had a nice weekend!

    1. I don't mind that it's every 3 months as much as I'm nervous that it costs more for less items... :/ They better be gooders!

I've seen so many bloggers subscribed to these subscription boxes, I can't seem to find one I'm really set on though.

  5. Nail polish in a box is usually what makes these beauty boxes great for me - it's too bad you already have the same shade! All in all it looks like a great box for the value though!
