Hello all! Today, I wanted to share with you the O∙P∙I Euro Centrale Collection! My friend Jolene dropped this off for me at work on Friday! I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't swatch them all in my office, later that day. :P This collection has 2 names...Euro Centrale OR Either It's Me or the Polish Collection. I'll just leave it at that. ;) (until the CG holos come out..bwaha)
This collection was exciting to me because it includes colours themed around the Czech Repbulic, Hungary, Poland and Romania. I'm Polish born, so it's a given that I would have purchased all the colours, anyways. ;) The more I looked at the collection, the more I fell in love with everything. It's a great mix of brights and darks with glitter thrown in.
I'm totally digging dark colours like navy and purple!
Always have loved brights and these are perfect!
Shimmers! Note "A Woman's Prague-ative" and "Hands off My Kielbasa" are in their reverse spots - oops!
Here is a first look at all the swatches:
L to R: Vant to Bite My Neck?, I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw, My Vampire is Buff, Hands Off My Kielbasa!, OY-Another Polish Joke! and A Woman's Prague-ative.
L to R: She's Hungary AGAIN!, OPI-Eurso Euro, Polka.com, My Paprika is Hotter than Yours!, Can't Find My Czechbook and You're Such a Budapest.
My Vampire Is Buff is an off white nude creme with a pink undertone that's not visible until you swatch it.
I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw is a deep midnight blue creme. Much darker than it appears here. If you look at the above swatch, it's closer to that.
OPI...Eurso Euro seems to be a chameleon. It has been described as a Spanish tile blue but it also looks purple in some lighting. It is a very inky looking colour that is a creme.
Polka.com is a multi colour hex glitter. It has teal, purple and fuchsia It also has purple mini glitter. Very fun!
Vant to Bite My Neck? is a deep purple eggplant creme colour. It is a dark purple, but you can definitely make out it's a dark purple on the nail. Often times colours like this can appear black.
You're Such a Budapest is a periwinkle creme. You can't really tell by looking at the bottle it has a very subtle glitter/shimmer to it that is more apparent when it's on the nail. It's really pretty and will probably be a fave for me!
Suzi's Hungary AGAIN! is a coraly pink creme. You can actually see a faint shimmer to this one as well. <3
Can't Find My Czechbook is an aqua creme with a grey undertone. It's more green based than it looks here. It's not a Tiffany blue. This one will be a fan fave and the name is hilarious!
My Paprika is Hotter than Yours! is a fiery red creme. You can also see the subtle shimmer in this one. It does show up a bit more orangey, as it does have orange undertones.
Hands Off My Kielbasa! is a dusty coral shimmer. This is definitely one of my favourites in the collection. This is also the colour that Adele wore on her nails to the Grammy's. She had the Matte topcoat on top of it.
OY-Another Polish Joke! is a gold shimmer. It has beautiful coverage and will probably become a quick favourite as well. You don't need a base colour for it. Now, being Polish I don't really get the "oy!" thing. I thought it was more of a Jewish saying. It could be regional, I'm not sure.
A Woman's Prague-ative is a copper shimmer. Another way gorgeous colour!
Here is the whole collection and the colours here are a really good representation of how they look!
TOP ROW L to R: Suzi's Hungary AGAIN!, Can't Find My Czechbook, My Paprika is Hotter than Yours!, Hands Off My Kielbasa!, OY-Another Polish Joke! and A Woman's Prague-ative.
BOTTOM ROW L to R: My Vampire is Buff, I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw, OPI...Eurso Euro, Polka.com, Vant to Bite My Neck? and You're Such a Budapest.
I'm so excited to have Polish named polishes in my collection (and Canadian ones too!). I'm really happy with this collection as it has a lot of the colours that I love! They all apply like a dream! What do you think? What are you planning on getting or what do you already have?
I hope you're enjoying your long weekend, those of you celebrating Family Day this weekend!
